The production process, which spanned over three months, took place at the BMW Group Dingolfing plant in Moosthenning, Lower Bavaria. The production time for each vehicle comprised eight assembly cycles, a meticulous process that took up to 10 days. This exclusive model, no longer in production and not intended for sale in Singapore or the region, is a gem reserved solely for Europe.

The exterior of the BMW 3.0 CSL pays homage to BMW Motorsport's heritage with Alpine white uni paint and distinctive M stripes in blue, purple, and red. The paintwork, involving 134 meticulous processes, requires up to six days to paint which results in a timeless design reminiscent of classic racing cars. Nostalgic details, such as racing-inspired numbers and BMW logos on the C-pillar, bridge the past and present.​
