The progressive design of the BMW M8 Competition Coupé impresses with its radically dynamic, yet exceptionally elegant contours. The result is an impressive sports car that effortlessly communicates its luxurious character from every perspective. Using the finest materials and masterly craftsmanship, the interior forms the perfect symbiosis of pure sporting flair and choice luxury.
High-Performance at its best – the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 4.4 litres and 460 kW (625 hp) is the most powerful of all engines in BMW standard production vehicles. Equipped with two twin scroll turbochargers, high-pressure injection and Valvetronic, the high-performance power unit inside the BMW M8 Competition Coupé impresses both on the road and on the racetrack: 750 Nm of torque, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 10.6 seconds.

The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. Whether automatic or manual using the selector lever or gearshift paddles – for comfortable coasting or incredibly dynamic driving. In SPORT mode and with the selector lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the maximum performance.
The Adaptive M suspension can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions. underlining the elegant side section of the vehicle perfectly. Alongside its flat design, the softtop of the BMW 4 Series Convertible also impresses with a low centre of gravity and reduced weight. In addition to this, it significantly reduces noises in the interior and provides outstanding insulation against the cold – and, even when the vehicle is in motion, the electric folding top can be opened and closed at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
