When the BMW i5 is fully charged, you can cover distances of up to 582 km (WLTP). This enables you to manage your daily routine without any problems. However, you are also well equipped for more distant destinations with this range.
That depends on which charging station you choose. If you connect the BMW i5 to a Wallbox with 11 kW alternating current, it will take roughly 8.2 hours. The fastest option for charging the BMW i5 is to use a direct current (DC) charging station with a maximum of 205 kW. In this case, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80% in only 30 minutes.
The BMW i5 eDrive40 is a high-performance electric vehicle with a powerful output of 250 kW (340 hp) and a torque of 400 Nm. It therefore accelerates, from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.1 seconds. As soon as you brake, any kinetic energy generated in the process is converted into electrical energy. This charges the battery and thus increases the range of the BMW i5.
